Junior Fitting
Small hands and developing grip strength make comfort matter even more for a junior golfer, not less. We run the same shock-and-flight comparison scaled to their size.
A Harsh Feel Discourages Practice
An adult-weight shaft or an oversized grip in a junior's hands doesn't just affect performance — it transmits more shock relative to their smaller frame, which can quietly discourage the extra practice reps that actually build a swing. We measure grip diameter against hand size and pick shaft weight and insert material that keep feedback comfortable, not just performance-optimal.
Length gets set from wrist-to-floor measurement first, since two juniors of the same age can need clubs two inches apart in length once that number is recorded.
Specs Stay on File for the Next Growth Spurt
Every junior fitting's readings get archived under the player's name. A re-check six months or a year later starts from that record instead of a fresh guess, and we'll say honestly whether a growth spurt has made a re-fit worthwhile yet.
