Questions We Hear Before Booking
The things golfers most often ask before their first comfort fitting, answered directly.
Is this fitting only for golfers with joint pain or injuries?
No. Every golfer benefits from a lower-shock setup, and most clients simply want a more comfortable feel through impact. We just pay extra attention to grip and shaft comfort for golfers managing arthritis, tendonitis, or a past wrist or hand injury.
How is a shock reading actually measured?
We use a sensor-equipped launch monitor setup that logs vibration transfer at the grip alongside standard ball-flight data, so we can compare comfort and performance for the same swing across different demo clubs.
Will a lower-vibration setup cost me distance?
Not by design. Every damping option we recommend is checked against your launch monitor numbers first — if a softer combination costs meaningful carry distance, we say so and look at alternatives rather than recommending it anyway.
How long does a fitting session take?
Single-club fittings run 45–60 minutes. Iron set fittings run 60–90 minutes. A full bag comfort assessment covering every club typically takes 2–3 hours.
Do I have to buy clubs after my fitting?
No. There's never an obligation to purchase. You'll receive a written report covering both comfort and performance data, and if you do order afterward, your fitting fee is credited in full.
What should I bring to my session?
Bring your current clubs relevant to the fitting, the shoes you normally play in, and a note of any joint pain, past injuries, or clubs that have bothered you before.
Can I upgrade my current clubs instead of buying new ones?
Yes. Regripping with a softer compound, reshafting with a damped shaft, or adding an insert to an existing head are all options we build into a session — a full rebuild isn't always necessary.
Do you fit left-handed golfers?
Yes. Our demo wall includes left-handed heads across every major category, and the sensor setup works identically for right- and left-handed golfers.
How long does it take to receive new clubs after ordering?
Most builds are completed in-house within a week of ordering, since components and inserts are stocked on-site rather than sent out to a factory queue.
What areas do you serve?
Our studio is located in Ogden, Utah, and we regularly serve golfers throughout Weber and Davis Counties, including Layton, Roy, and South Ogden.
